Exodus keeps encrypted .seco files — handled differently (no hash to send).

  1. Talk to your helper first

    # There is NO hashcat hash for Exodus. btcrecover cracks a COPY of the Exodus wallet folder directly, but that folder contains key material.

    Output looks like (no shareable hash)

    Agree an approach with your helper over a secure channel; move funds afterwards.

Nothing by default. Do not upload the Exodus folder to a cloud machine. Ask the helper before sending anything.

❌ Never send

  • the Exodus wallet folder to a public/cloud machine
  • your seed phrase
  • any private key

Watch out

  • Because the Exodus folder holds key material, this is the one case where extraction and cracking should be arranged directly and privately with the helper.
